When you see Juan Mata and Donny van de Beek in the same starting XI, you know there will be some clever link-up play in the final third.
That’s exactly what we got tonight in the first-half against Watford as United push for a second goal.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are leading the Championship outfit 1-0, thanks to a quick-fire finish by Scott McTominay.
Watford have had their moments too, and we’re always going to be nervous when the opposition are getting plenty of corners.
However, Mata and Van de Beek showed great link-up play towards the end of the first-half — showcasing wonderful flicks on the edge of Watford’s box.
