Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his Manchester United starting XI to face Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League group stages.

United have made the perfect start to what was dubbed the ‘group of death’, defeating Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc de Princes and RB Leipzig at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer’s men now face Istanbul Basaksehir, currently seventh in the Turkish league, twice in a week and will all but ensure their qualification to the knockout rounds with two victories.

United’s superb European form has contrasted with their dismal start in the Premier League, but the Reds need deliver a convincing performance tonight to rebuild confidence ahead of Saturday lunchtime’s tricky fixture against Everton at Goodison Park.

And Solskjaer has made a number of changes as he aims to elicit a reaction from his team after the poor showing against Arsenal on Sunday.

Dean Henderson gets his chance in the starting XI ahead of the rested David de Gea, and Axel Tuanzebe returns in central defence after his monumental display at PSG.

Donny van de Beek is handed a start in midfield alongside Nemanja Matic and Bruno Fernandes in midfield.

Anthony Martial leads the line after serving the last game of his domestic suspension, and is supported by Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata in attack.
