Goals from Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood and a clean sheet from debutant Dean Henderson sealed the game. Speaking after the game, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gave an ominous transfer update claiming that the club are ‘working with the ones they have now’.
United’s lack of summer transfer activity has been well documented with discontent growing among the fanbase, especially on social media.
