Jamie Carragher had a cheeky dig at Ryan Giggs during Sky Sports’ Football Show on Tuesday morning.
Former Liverpool player and manager Graeme Souness recalled the first time he was made aware of Giggs as a youngster at Manchester United before he went on to become a club legend.
Souness remembers speaking to one of his coaches at the time, while manager, and he was told about one United player in particular after a game between the two youth sides.

That youngster was Giggs — described as a talented young forward who was better than Steve McMahon.
The coach was spot on, whoever it was…
Everyone tuning into the show knew Souness was talking Giggs, but Carragher couldn’t help but ask “was it Lee Sharpe?”
His punchline left the panel in stitches including Souness, as in the video below, who then insisted he was actually talking about Gary Neville!
There’s not a lot worth watching on TV nowadays with the coronavirus pandemic putting a stop to sporting events across the world, but we welcome more football shows like this from Sky Sports.
