Paul Pogba has sent a message to his 7.3m twitter followers raising awareness of the coronavirus.

The outbreak of the virus has caused professional football in England to be cancelled until at least April 4th, and UEFA has also cancelled upcoming Europa League and Champions League fixtures.

Pogba, who has been recovering from a long-term ankle injury, used his dab celebration to promote the World Health Organisation’s tips to help prevent spreading the coronavirus.

There are now over 700 confirmed cases of coronavirus, a number which is expected to rise significantly as the virus spreads further.

Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mikel Arteta are among those who have tested positive for COVID-19, and staff and players from several Premier League clubs are now self-isolating due to the risk of the virus.

Pogba’s future at Old Trafford is in doubt but there were hopes he was finally nearing his return to the pitch under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

But there is now huge uncertainty as to when we will next see the Reds in action.
