Manchester United are reportedly set to prioritise the transfer of Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish as an alternative to Leicester City’s James Maddison.
According to the Daily Mirror, the Red Devils are now expected to try to seal a ‘huge’ deal for the in-form Grealish while Maddison closes in on a new contract with the Foxes.
I think United fans would be pretty happy with that given Grealish has been outstanding this season and in better form than Maddison. Even with his team struggling to guarantee Premier League safety, he’s done tremendous this season and is their main vocal point in the final third.

The 24-year-old would be a fine fit at Old Trafford, along with the January addition of Bruno Fernandes, and United look to bolster their attacking options. We need more players who will create an opportunities — and a goalscorer who will put them away!
If Villa go down there’s no way they will keep hold of Grealish next season and he will have a pick of top clubs.
With Jesse Lingard continuing the struggle and Paul Pogba’s future still up in the air, Grealish would be a great buy in the summer and the move could see his chances playing for England increase.
Although his form this season should do that anyway.
