Man Utd linked with Hellas Verona defender valued at £15m

Manchester United are being linked with Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla.

According to L’Arena, the 19-year-old Albanian defender caught the eye of a scout sent to watch a different player!

The report claims Kumnulla would cost around €15m.

So, you are probably wondering who is this kid?

Kumnulla has been one of the more promising players for Ivan Juric’s Verona.

It is believed in Italy that his recent form has been enough to convince Juventus that he is worth investing in, as per Goal.com.

As it’s been reported that United scouts were impressed by Kumbulla there’s every chance United would be looking to agree a deal sooner rather than later.

He has made 11 appearances across all competitions this season, scoring one goal, and could soon be on verge of joining a bigger club than Verona.

This is the second young defender we’ve seen United linked with today — joining Barcelona’s £17m-rated Jean-Char Todibo, according to The Sun.

Axel Tuanzebe could have a successful career at Old Trafford yet, but more questions are being asked of Victor Lindelof each week.

Solskjaer must decide on who is best suited to partner Harry Maguire at the back.
