Prior to kick-off in Sheffield United’s 1-0 win over Arsenal, the Frenchman discussed Arsenal star Nicolas Pepe and his struggles since moving to England this summer.
Evra knows what it’s like to have a difficult start from when he joined United, so he’s in a position to speak from experience when he tries to explain what Pepe is going through at the moment.
He revealed a priceless story about his own debut against Man City and the struggles he faced on and off the pitch.

Still, that wasn’t enough to knock Evra fully as he’d go on to become the left-back in England during his time, and one of the best in Europe.
Even his agent began to think twice about his client joining United, as Evra said: “My agent said we made a mistake joining Manchester United.”
