Saturday’s late kick of between Blackpool and Manchester United has been postponed.
Referee Pater Walton inspected the Bloomfield Road pitch and felt some parts would not be safe to play on.
Temperatures of minus eight degrees left the pitch frozen and with snow still to come they had no other choice but to postpone the game.
Bloomfield Road underwent more than one redevelopment and it still doesnt have undersoil heating. This of course would of helped the matter.
We are still waiting for an announcement for when the game will be rescheduled.
