Manchester United face Wolves with one hand on U18 Premier League North title

Manchester United U18s could be crowned Premier League North champions today.

The young Reds take on fourth-placed Wolves at 13:00 BST, with Adam Lawrence’s impressive side looking to follow up from the recent 9-1 win over Liverpool and a 4-2 triumph against Stoke City.

United’s U18s have also reached the PL Cup final which takes place on Tuesday 23 April at Leigh Sports Village against rivals Man City. Tickets are free.

Lawrence’s side are currently top of the league, 13 points above City, who have played two games less. A win this afternoon would see the Reds crowned champions of the U18 Premier League’s northern division.

The winners of the league’s two regional divisions then meet at the end of the season to decide the overall champions in a play-off.

Wolves go into the game having won their last two matches against Stoke and Man City respectively.
