Manchester United have been linked with 18-year-old winger Mathys Tel in recent weeks, but the France U21 international is appears set to commit his future to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Tel has ‘signed a new contract’ at Bayern until 2029 which should put an end to the speculation surrounding his future.
United were dragged into those gossip columns to suggest there was a possibility that Tel could ditch the Allianz Arena for Old Trafford.
The young winger scored against the Reds in the Champions League earlier this season.
United need more in the attacking department
It is worrying when you take a look at the amount of wingers at United who are not at the required standard. Antony, the most expensive one of the lot, has been painfully underwhelming since his mega-money move from Ajax.
That is why it won’t surprise me to see United linked with wingers in the upcoming transfer window.
Crystal Palace star Michael Olise is another wide option reportedly on United’s radar.
