Four Bayer Leverkusen players have emerged on Manchester United’s radar.

A number of targets have been identified in the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and beyond – but who the Reds sign is anyone’s guess right now.

According to a report by SportBILD, as cited by Sport Witness, United are keeping their eyes on four Bayer Leverkusen players including Exequiel Palacios, Jeremie Frimpong, Edmond Tapsoba and Odilon Kossounou ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who can play both as a right-back and as a centre-back, is also being monitored by Tottenham Hotspur.

When Premier League clubs begin to circle that’s usually when clubs will raise their prices, especially when it concerns United.

The Ivorian was part of the AFCON-winning side this year and has made 20 appearances for high-flying Leverkusen this season.

Kossounou started in the final after missing the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations, playing a key role in the win over Nigeria.

Kossounou’s price tag is believed to be at least €50 million.

Kossounou could become the second Ivorian in the United should if he is to join in the summer, with Amad Diallo already at the club and trying to break into Erik ten Hag’s side.
