Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani to strengthen their attacking options at Old Trafford.

It has been a tough start to the season for Manchester United, who sit 14th in the table and scoreless in their last three Premier League games.

The Red Devils strengthened in attack this summer with the arrival of Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee to supply competition for Rasmus Hojlund.

Despite Zirkzee impressing with link-up play, the 23-year-old has only scored once for the Red Devils

Erik ten Hag will be pleased that Hojlund scored his first goal of the season against FC Porto before the international break.

However, with a lack of goals being a major concern, it is reported that the Red Devils are looking at a potential incoming to strengthen the squad in the coming transfer windows.

The Red Devils are reportedly interested in the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward to improve Ten Hag’s attacking options.

With the French striker reportedly unsettled in Paris, United may be watching the situation unfold.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, “Manchester United have been keeping a close eye on Kolo Muani’s situation and are reportedly willing to make an offer of around 70 million euros to bring him to Old Trafford.

“With PSG looking for alternatives to adjust their squad, the possibility of the Frenchman changing teams in the next transfer market is on the table.

“PSG, eager to recoup part of their investment, would not be unhappy with his departure.”

Kolo Muani a realistic option for Manchester United?

Kolo Munai had previously been linked to a move to Old Trafford before the Red Devils made the move to sign Hojlund last summer.

It is clear that the Red Devils need more goals but with Joshua Zirkzee arriving in the summer, it would be difficult to see the Red Devils sanction a move for the PSG striker in January.

With Hojlund building up his fitness, Ten Hag will be hoping that the Danish forward can find his goal-scoring form and solve the concerning goal issue at Old Tarfford this season.
