Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has reportedly left his Manchester stars puzzled after making several changes in recent weeks. 

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is under huge pressure as speculation continues around his future at the club.

INEOS’ football structure at Manchester United met in London for a pre-planned meeting to discuss several matters including the future of the Manchester United boss.

There remains uncertainty after the meeting with the latest sack claim in the media stating the Dutch coach is still under threat.

It has been a tough time for the Manchester United boss with only two wins in the opening seven Premier League fixtures including two Old Trafford  3-0 defeats against Tottenham Hotspur and bitter rival Liverpool.

However, one decision by the former Ajax manager has left the Red Devils stars baffled.

Manchester United stars are reportedly baffled by Ten Hag’s decision to heavily rotate his starting XI in recent weeks, with Marcus Rashford one of the players most often rotated out.

The Dutch coach made a su[rising call to rotate Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt out for Harry Maguire and veteran Jonny Evans for the 0-0 draw at Villa Park against Aston Villa.

According to the Daily Mail, many Manchester United stars are confused and frustrated at Ten Hag’s current rotation policy.

The report notions that several Red Devils want to play more regularly as they look to build more rhythm in the coming weeks to improve the club’s form.

It remains to be seen if the Dutch coach is still in the Old Trafford hot seat after the international break, but if he is not dismissed by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the former Ajax coach has a lot of work to do to turn things around.
