Bruno Fernandes opens up on his ‘hardest moment’ as a Red Devil

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has had a tough start to the season and has looked far from his best in the opening weeks of the campaign.

Manchester United have had a very poor start to the season with the Red Devils currently sitting 14th in the table with only seven points.

The Red Devils have been unable to score many goals with Bruno Fernandes struggling to find form in recent weeks.

The Portuguese star has looked like a frustrating figure in a Manchester United shirt and will hope he can turn around his form in the coming matches.

The Manchester United captain was sent off in the midweek 3-3 draw with FC Porto but is available to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday after his Premier League ban was rescinded.

Bruno Fernandes sends Manchester United fans an apology on Instagram

After another difficult performance for Manchester United supporters to watch, the Portuguese star has issued a statement to the fans on his Instagram page.

Speaking on Instagram, Fernandes said: “Tough moment as a team and personally for me, one of the hardest. Almost 5 years at the club with ups and downs, good and bad moments,”

“Personally, I have always had challenges and adversities throughout my career and something that’s never happened was that I go silent or hide myself from responsibilities in difficult moments.

“I know it sounds cliche and most of you United fans will be tired of it, but no one is more disappointed than myself with my own moment. Even through this moment, I appreciate all of you that had positive messages of belief in me and the team.”
