Bruno Fernandes won’t be missing any games through suspension.

Manchester United have won their appeal against Bruno Fernandes’ red card versus Tottenham, as per ManUtd.com.

As a result, the United captain will be available for the next three games, meaning he won’t miss any through suspension.

The standard of refereeing in the Premier League was called into question over the weekend and they’ve now accepted that a mistake was made in the 3-0 defeat.

Fernandes had been sent off for a foul on James Maddison, which warranted no more than a yellow card.

He was set to miss United’s league fixtures against Aston Villa, Brentford and West Ham but will now be available following the successful appeal.

United find themselves in a hut at the moment and being without their club captain would have been far from ideal. That said, Fernandes has not performed well this season and needs to find form soon.

  1. Great news, if somewhat surprising. Bruno playing is best way to recapture his best form – class is permanent, don’t forget.
