Ange Postecoglou gives key injury update ahead of Manchester United clash

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has given an update on how they will treat the Heung Min Son injury ahead of their clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

It is a big match for Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag who is in much need of a big result against one of his top-four rivals.

It has been a frustrating start to the season with only seven points from a possible 15.

Last time out in the Premier League the Red Devils were more controlled but were unable to break the Crystal Palace defence in a 0-0 draw.

The United boss may have received a boost with Tottenham star Son looking like he could miss the fixture at Old Trafford.

Son is one of Spurs’ biggest threats and would be a big miss for Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham boss Postecoglou was vague but wanted to give Son as much time as possible to see if he could pass the fitness test for the weekend visit to Old Trafford to face Manchester United.

As per The Athletic, the Tottenham boss said: “Apart from Sonny, everyone’s OK. And Sonny I don’t think’s too bad.

“He wants to train tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes at training tomorrow and make a decision from there.

“We have another day up our sleeve to give him every chance.”
