Christian Eriksen sends his shot across the goalkeeper with a beautiful strike to open the scoring against FC Twente.
The Denmark international has the Reds off and running and it’s a goal United needed as we’ve dominated early phases of the game.
However, we had nothing to show for it up until Eriksen’s opener which came from a stunning strike from an angle.
United’s pressure paid off as the ball fell kindly to Eriksen inside the area, with the Dane smashing home into the top corner.

United have defended well this season but it will be a test to keep FC Twente out. They’ve got a few attacking players who can hurt United if there’s any lapses in concentration.
