Video: Encouraging injury update shows United’s Yoro back in the gym

An encouraging update has been shared of Manchester United centre-back Leny Yoro back in the gym ahead of his eagerly awaited return from injury.

United spent big money to take the 18-year-old from Lille during the summer, and leapt the likes Real Madrid and Liverpool in the process.

Sadly, the young French star got injured during a pre-season friendly against Arsenal in the US, limping off after 35 minutes. It was a night of mad fortune for the Reds as Rasmus Hojlund sustained a lengthy injury which kept him out of action up until the weekend.

The video uploaded of Yoro shows he is taking every step in his recovery process to get back on track. The defender is doing some light movements on his feet on the indoor gym.

United were given an injury setback this week when Erik ten Hag that Luke Shaw may not return from his calf injury until mid-October, despite previously stating the left-back may return following the September internationals.

Shaw hasn’t played for United since February 18 but that didn’t stop him taking part in the Euros during the summer. Priorities, eh?
