Manchester United are being linked with a swoop for Lecce winger Patrick Dorgu.

The 19-year-old winger, who has been capped by Denmark, is attracting lots of interest which means scouts will be busy tracking his development throughout the season.

A report from Team Talk flags interest from United, however, Chelsea are said to be frontrunners for his signature. Dorgu reportedly has interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid too.

Having made the switch from FC Nordsjaelland in 2022, Dorgu quickly established himself as one of Lecce’s most important players.

The teenager has already made 38 appearances for the Serie A outfit, contributing two goals and one assist from the left flank. He has made three starts in Italy’s top flight so far this season.

Dorgu was called up to the Denmark senior squad with his first two caps earned in the recent UEFA Nations League wins over Switzerland and Serbia.

There are two players in the Denmark squad he could leave on for advice on joining United. While Christian Eriksen doesn’t have a long-term future at the club, the same can’t be said for Rasmus Hojlund.

One to watch for our readers who enjoy Italian football.
