Former Chelsea star and TalkSport pundit Jason Cundy has heaped praise on young Manchester United star Amad Diallo.
Amad Diallo has had an impressive start to this campaign with the young Ivorian quickly becoming a key player in Erik Ten Hag’s Manchester United side.
The performance levels that Amad are showing are currently keeping Alejandro Garnacho on the bench, who again impressed off the bench against Southampton grabbing the third goal in a 3-0 victory at the Saint Mary’s stadium.
The Red Devils star looks full of confidence, and like Garnacho will be hoping he can continue to push Ten Hag to include him in the starting XI.
It was a creative display by the former Atalanta man, creating six-plus chances and providing an assist to Marcus Rashford.
Jason Cundy in awe of ‘sensational’ Amad Diallo performance
After Manchester United’s 3-0 win against Southampton TalkSport pundit Jason Cundy offered his verdict on the game.
Speaking on TalkSport about Manchester United and Amad’s performance, Cundy said: “A number of players, I thought particularly played well for Manchester United, De Ligt gets his first goal.
“so you’ve got three wide players right now, you’ve got Amad, You’ve got Rashford, and you’ve got Garnacho.
“Amad first half, he was sensational, even though United struggled.
“He’s going to be one hell of a player by the way, I thought he was sensational.
“Even though United were poor, I thought he was the best player on the pitch.”
