Two Manchester United players link up on international duty.
Portugal duo Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot played a key role in their side’s opening goal against Croatia in tonight’s UEFA Nations League clash.
We want to describe it as Manchester United excellence, but we haven’t seen enough of that in the first three games of the Premier League season, with the Reds picking up just three points in as many matches.
Portugal passed their way through Croatia for the opening goal.
Fernandes got the ball on the edge of the box before finding Dalot arriving into dangerous territory. The United full-back made no mistake with his first touch to get away from the defender before sending the ball past Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic.

Fernandes has contributed to 21 goals in his last 17 appearances for Portugal.
Cristiano Ronaldo doubled Portugal’s lead after the half hour mark, but Dalot turned the ball into his own net before the break to make it 2-1.
Hopefully, the pair can return to United without any knocks or niggles after the international break.
