Manchester United part-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe was a frustrated figure at Old Trafford after a 3-0 defeat to bitter rivals Liverpool.
Ratcliffe looked dismayed at the team’s performance and will be looking for Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag to return to winning ways after the International break.
After the two-week break, Ten Hag’s side face a trip to Saint Mary’s to face newly promoted side Southampton in the early kick-off.
Today’s defeat leaves the Red Devils with a total of three points from a possible nine.
After securing five new signings for the former Ajax coach he will be hoping to witness better performances than this afternoon’s showing.
