Napoli fans are already crazy about Scott McTominay, who they’ve welcomed on arrival to Italy this morning.
The Manchester United midfielder is closing in on a late transfer to the Serie A side, with the transfer expected to be completed before Friday’s deadline.
After impressing at Euro 2024 and scoring 10 goals across all competitions for United last summer, Napoli are getting a midfielder with an eye for goal.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has shared footage on X, formerly known as Twitter, showing McTominay receive a warm reception from the Napoli faithful.

Fans can be spotted taking photos and videos of McTominay’s arrival, and heard shouting his name on repeat.
McTominay was rushed through the airport seemingly to get the deal done. The Scotland international has yet to undergo a medical.
