The first week of Premier League action is upon us which means FPL managers across the world have been busy making changes to their new teams for the 2024/25 season.
Joshua Zirkzee stole the headlines with his debut winner against Fulham, but he wasn’t the only debutant to impress on Friday night.
United’s top scorer via FPL this week was Noussair Mazraoui, who looked very assured at right-back. He was replaced towards the end by fellow new signing Matthijs de Ligt after the pair joined from Bayern Munich just days prior.
The first Team of the Week of the season includes Mazraoui, as part of a three-man defence. He collected eight points in total (3 bonus points) after helping keep a clean sheet on his maiden appearance.
Former United striker Danny Welbeck also earned a spot in the XI, and we are set to face his Brighton side on Saturday.
