Manchester United youngster Maxi Oyedele could leave Old Trafford before the end of the summer transfer window, it has been reported.

The 19-year-old is believed to be “in talks” with Polish side Legia Warsaw, who are trying to get a deal over the line in the coming days.

According to the Daily Mail, United are willing to let Oyedele leave the club after failing to break into Erik ten Hag’s first-team squad.

Furthermore, it’s not like Oyedele appears to be in the first-team frame like Toby Collyer and Harry Amass.

Oyedele biggest achievement at United came when he was part of the FA Youth Cup winning side in 2021-22 that featured first-team duo Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.

Despite joining the club as a 9-year-old, Oyedele has not developed quite like those boys and it may be time to seek first-team football elsewhere. He enjoyed a strong spell on loan at Altrincham in the 2022/23 season.

Oyedele was part of the Forest Green Rovers side that suffered relegation.

A move to the Ekstraklasa would give the youngster a fresh start, which is probably what he needs at this stage of his career.
