Predicted Manchester United XI vs Fulham: Garnacho, Amad and Rashford start

Manchester United take on Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday night as they try to secure three points to kick start the new Premier League campaign. The Reds suffered defeat in the Community Shield, losing 7-6 on penalties against Man City last weekend.

Erik ten Hag will be eager for his team to start the new season with a win. United finished eighth in the Premier League last term, and fans are demanding an improvement this time around.

The Dutchman is likely to set his team up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Alejandro Garnacho expected to start on the left flank.

Andre Onana will be positioned between the sticks, as per usual.

Diogo Dalot will operate at right-back while new signing Noussair Mazraoui may get the nod at left-back. I suspect we’ll see Lisandro Martinez return to centre-back alongside Harry Maguire.

Casemiro and Kobbie Mainoo will anchor the midfield, while a trio of Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo will play just ahead of them in attack.

Marcus Rashford could lead the line as the game may come too soon for Joshua Zirkzee.

Manchester United predicted XI vs Fulham: Onana; Dalot, Maguire, Martinez, Mazraoui; Casemiro, Mainoo; Amad, Fernandes, Garnacho; Rashford.
