Marco Reus had been a free agent after leaving Borussia Dortmund at the end of last season but the German forward has finally signed for a new club.
The 35-year-old has joined LA Galaxy until the end of the 2026 season.
Reus follows in the footsteps of David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Javier Hernandez in moving to LA Galaxy after a career in Europe.
The German veteran moves to the US following a decorated career at Borussia Dortmund, where he registered 301 goal contributions in 429 appearances across 12 seasons for the German club.
In Reus’ final season for Dortmund, he played 26 matches and had 14 goal contributions.
Jadon Sancho shows his true colours with Marco Reus reaction
The Manchester United winger issued a wordless message to Reus after the former BVB star completed his move to LA Galaxy.
Sancho updated his Instagram story with an announcement picture featuring Reus with a ‘goat’ emoji.
The pair played together at Dortmund during Sancho’s two spells in the Bundesliga.
If only LA Galaxy could make it happen again next season. I’m sure that would make Sancho very happy but they haven’t got the funding to persuade United to sell.
