Aaron Wan-Bissaka set to undergo West Ham medical in coming days

Manchester United and West Ham are now trying to finalise a deal that will see Aaron Wan-Bissaka move from Old Trafford to the London Stadium.

The transfer has been in the pipeline for some time and United have been waiting for Wan-Bissaka to move on so they can reinvest the money they receive from West Ham to sign a replacement.

Sky Sport Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg claims that both clubs are in contact and will seal the agreement soon, with a medical examination planned over the next three days.

Wan-Bissaka did not travel to London with the United squad ahead of today’s Community Shield clash against rivals Man City at Wembley.

The right-back performed well in the FA Cup final against City when United last visited Wembley in May.

Negotiations are now at an advanced stage with Wan-Bissaka set to sign for West Ham.

It is understood that United will try to complete a deal for Bayern Munich full-back Noussair Mazraoui once Wan-Bissaka departs.

United will want to get any final deals across the line before the Premier League season kicks off next Friday when Fulham come to Old Trafford.

  1. Good deal for both clubs. West Ham top 4 if Lopetegui can assemble a team from the brilliant parts.
