Former Arsenal starlet begins medical ahead of Manchester United transfer

Manchester United are getting closer to signing talented youngster Chido Obi-Martin.

After leaving Arsenal earlier this summer, the 16-year-old striker agreed personal terms with Manchester United.

According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, Obi-Martin is in Manchester to complete his medical with the club.

The young striker, who previously scored 10 goals in a single game against Liverpool, had good offers from Germany but chose a move to Old Trafford.

It’s understood that the offers from Germany were superior to United’s terms.

Obi-Martin is joining a new exciting project at United and will hope to find a pathway into the first-team like Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho.

This shows United are trying to sign the best young talents in the market as we saw when Leny Yoro arrived from Lille last month.
