If all goes to plan in the coming days, Noussair Mazraoui will be a Manchester United player by next week.
That’s if Santi Aouna’s latest update is anything to go by, anyway, as he has confidently claimed that the defender will travel to England ‘in the next days’ with his ‘medical booked’ for Tuesday.
Assuming he passes all the required fitness tests, Mazraoui will then put pen to paper on a five-year contract plus the option of an additional season. Bayern Munich have ‘authorised’ his sale, so it’s just a case of hashing out the final details between the two European giants.

Mazraoui could make debut one week from now
Meanwhile, Erik ten Hag is keen to have Mazraoui at his disposal for next Saturday’s Community Shield Final against Manchester City, which gives United the opportunity to kick their season off on a high note before the Premier League campaign gets underway the following Friday, August 16.
In turn, the Moroccan’s arrival will presumably accelerate Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s departure to West Ham.
