Damning Wednesday evening update on Leny Yoro: United fear he’ll be out for two months with metatarsal fracture

While Manchester United are yet to release a definitive statement regarding Leny Yoro themselves, there has been further clarification tonight over the defender’s condition.

Mail Sport reports that the young Frenchman is expected to be out for around two months amid fears that he has fractured a metatarsal in his left foot.

It comes after Yoro was spotted on crutches and wearing a protective boot following a squad training session on Tuesday, which left fans fearing the worst over their latest recruit.

Now, the Old Trafford faithful will have to wait until after the opening few fixtures of the 2024/2025 campaign to see Yoro make his competitive debut. United take on rivals Manchester City in the Community Shield final on August 10 before getting their Premier League term underway at home to Fulham the following Friday, August 16.
