Aaron Wan-Bissaka to West Ham deal agreed in principle; player’s green light required

Manchester United have made two signings this summer and it is believed that sales are required before fans can expect more incomings.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is one player deemed sellable if the price is right, although Manchester United have reportedly had to lower their valuation of the right-back this summer.

That is because Wan-Bissaka has entered the final 12 months of his contract and this summer transfer window represents one final chance to cash in on a defender, who would not start in a United side with a fully fit defence.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham are keen to negotiate on United’s valuation which is understood to be in access of £15 million.

United reached an agreement with Bayern Munich right-back Noussair Mazraoui over a 5-year deal, however, Fabrizio Romano claims Wan-Bissaka must be sold first.

West Ham have been strongly linked with a move for Wan-Bissaka, and Stretty News previously reported on the 26-year-old’s desire to return to London.

A fresh update from Theatre of Red claims a deal in principle has been agreed between United and West Ham, with Wan-Bissaka set for an attractive payment package.

Theatre of Red editor Shaun Connolly reports: “West Ham are keen on acquiring his [Wan-Bissaka] services, with ‘The Spider’ held highly within the Hammers scouting department.”

Theatre of Red’s claims are well sourced on this story.

The deal is awaiting Wan-Bissaka’s green light.
