Former Manchester United forward reaches verbal agreement with Greek champions

Shola Shoretire left Manchester United earlier this summer but is still looking for a new club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Greek club PAOK have reached an agreement to sign the 20-year-old forward.

Shoretire, who was recently pictured training in Manchester with Mason Greenwood, has attracted interest from around Europe. It is believed that clubs from England, Spain, US and Saudi Arabia were willing to sign the former United youth player.

The current Greek Super League champions look set to sign Shoretire.

Shoretire made five senior appearances for the Reds.

In 2021, he became the youngest-ever player to make an appearance for United in Europe, after getting minutes in a scoreless draw against Real Sociedad.

The aim for Shoretire will be to secure regular football. We wish him the best of luck if the move to PAOK gets across the line.
