West Ham focus on Aaron Wan-Bissaka after move for Bayern Munich right-back collapses

West Ham will redirect their focus to Aaron Wan-Bissaka as they continue their search for a new right-back.

Recent reports from David Ornstein of The Athletic suggested West Ham and Noussair Mazraoui had an agreement in place. As of yesterday, it was stated that the proposed transfer was advanced but not yet done.

However, a new report from Germany claims West Ham are still focusing on the Manchester United right-back.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the Hammers’ deal for Noussair Mazraoui has collapsed and they are back to focusing on Wan-Bissaka.

The German reporter adds that new talks are planned for the next 48 hours, with United lowering their valuation of the player to around £10-15m.

Diogo Dalot will be United’s starting right-back next season, but a replacement for Wan-Bissaka is needed if we sell Wan-Bissaka, who is our only recognised back-up option.
