Manchester United have acted smartly in the transfer market so far.

They have managed to sell players like Mason Greenwood, Donny van de Beek, Willy Kambwala while high earners Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial are not anymore on the club’s wage list.

Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro have been signed so far this summer but the club have decided to add more quality to the squad before the transfer window closes at the end of next month.

United have made significant investments in Zirkzee and Yoro and in order to do more business, they have to sell some of the players first and raise funds.

According to TEAMtalk, Man United have decided to sell Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire and Casemiro this summer.

McTominay was used as a substitute for most of last season and his place in the starting line up next season is still not guaranteed.

Same can be said about Maguire, who has lost his place in the team to Yoro and if the club can sign Matthijs de Ligt, the English defender will fall further down the pecking order.

Scott McTominay and Harry Maguire could be heading out of Man United soon.

United feel it is better to cash in on them while they can get good money for them.

The third player that the club have decided to let go this summer is defensive midfielder Casemiro.

His form has massively dropped and his legs feel weak to cope with the fast paced Premier League.

Man United should grab this opportunity to raise cash

Saudi Arabian clubs have shown interest in his services and United should not think twice about cashing in on him before his value drops even more.

With these three sales, United can earn a good amount that can be used for transfer business, to sign a new midfielder and another defender.

The club’s hierarchy has worked well together to deal with the transfer business so far this summer and same can be expected moving forward.

  1. Could really do with a goal-scoring midfielder who’s passionate about the Club. If he were an Academy graduate: so much the better. Someone like Scott McTominay, really.
