Man United leading the race to sign defender who impressed at Euro 2024

Manchester United are interested in signing 24-year-old utility player Ferdi Kadioglu from Fenerbahce this summer.

In a summer transfer season that is already competitive, Man United are looking aggressively for new signings in order to address the issues facing the squad.

The Red Devils are leading the race to recruit 24-year-old Fenerbahce player, according to TEAMtalk.

In order to let him go during the summer transfer window, the Turkush club will seek at least €25 million.

Tyrell Malacia and Luke Shaw are the Red Devils’ two specialised left-backs, however the latter has been sidelined for the past 14 months due to injury.

Shaw is also prone to injuries and spent time on the sidelines last season which forced the club to use Diogo Dalot in the left-back position.

In order to add depth to the squad and a quality defender, the Red Devils are looking to sign the Turkish international, who was impressive for hi country at Euro 2024.

Ferdi Kadioglu has impressed Man United.

He contributed to Turkey reaching the quarterfinals of the Euro and along with Man United, has caught the attention of Premier League rivals Arsenal.

In addition to playing as a left-back, the 24-year-old can also play as a wing-back.

His ability to help Man United out on both ends of the pitch may make him a great asset.

The Turkey international began his career as a right winger and an offensive midfielder, but he has developed into a superb full-back.

His versatility can be a crucial asset for Erik ten Hag next season who is looking to expand the size of his squad and providing him decent options from the bench next season.
