Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Ligue 1 outfit Marseille over the transfer of Mason Greenwood.
The 22-year-old, sent on loan to Getafe, has been the subject of intense speculation in recent weeks.
Lazio withdrew their interest in Greenwood earlier this week when Marseille emerged as the frontrunners for the forward’s signature.
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Marseille have reached an agreement with United to sign Greenwood, although the proposed move remains subject to the player’s approval.
Ornstein claims the deal would see Marseille pay United €31.6m (£26.7m), comprising €27.6m (£23.3m) fixed and €4m (£3.4m) in add-ons, plus a large sell-on percentage.
Fellow reporter Ben Jacobs took to X to share a further update on the Greenwood deal to suggest United not only have a 50% sell-on clause, but retain the right to buy additional percentages at a later point.

It’s a flexible deal that shows United are thinking outside the box to maximise the value of their assets.
Greenwood arrived at Carrington for talks on Monday but he was informed there was no way back for him at United.
A group of Marseille have reacted angrily to the news that Greenwood could be their next signing.
