Battle for Dani Olmo: Manchester United among five clubs linked to RB Leipzig star

Dani Olmo will attract much attention this summer ahead of a big move away from RB Leipzig, where he has been applying his trade since 2020.

The Spain international came through Barcelona’s well-respected La Masia academy, before making a name for himself in Ukraine at Dinamo Zagreb.

On 25 January 2020, Olmo moved to Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig, signing a four-year contract which expires on July 15.

A report from Mundo Deportivo claims Manchester United are one of five clubs who are “interested” in signing Olmo.

The other clubs include Liverpool, Man City, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.

A return to Barcelona has been tipped for some time, with Olmo scoring eight goals in 25 games for Leipzig this season.

It is reported that he has a €60 million clause, which is pointless considering he will available for free if we wait until July 15.

Is Olmo worth waiting for?
