Erik ten Hag fears Manchester United sack after FA Cup win

Erik ten Hag has won two trophies in as many years as Manchester United manager, but the Dutchman fears his time at Old Trafford is set to end.

Ten Hag ‘believes he could still be sacked’ despite leading the club to FA Cup glory, according to ESPN.

We are approaching key days during which United officials will conduct a season review and a decision will not be made on Ten Hag’s future until that has concluded.

The manager confirmed in the build-up to the final win over Man City that he would be going on holiday the following Sunday. This gives the club the time it needs to assess the situation

Ten Hag has been under immense pressure in recent weeks after a forgettable Premier League campaign, but it remains to be seen if winning the FA Cup will be enough to keep his job.

United’s previous Dutch manager, Louis van Gaal, was sacked shortly after his side lifted the FA Cup trophy in 2016.
