Erik ten Hag is convinced he is the best man for the Manchester United job, while everyone waits on the club to decide whether he will remain manager next season.
Manchester United are conducting a season review amid the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign. Although Ten Hag finished has two trophies in as many years, the Reds failed to perform in the Premier League and crashed out of the Champions League in the group stages.
Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol has provided an update on Ten Hag and he believes the Dutchman will only be replaced as United manager if there is a better option out there. It is understood that the final decision is being made in the end-of-season review which is being carried out now.

It seems Ten Hag, just like the rest of us, is waiting for the outcome.
Reports earlier today suggest United are considering keeping Ten Hag as manager.
Ten Hag is right to believe he is the best man for the job because none of the potential managerial candidates are better coaches than him. They include Kieran McKenna, Thomas Tuchel, Gareth Southgate, Mauricio Pochettino and Thomas Frank.
I firmly believe that it would be a mistake for United to sack Ten Hag this summer and I hope Ineos don’t pull that trigger. He deserves a third season in charge – and, our latest poll suggests you agree.

To my way of thinking, it looks like the business side of United is winning out again, over the footballing side!! It appears that we are considering keeping ETH on!! Oh well!!
It looking like we financially can’t afford to fire (American for sack) him!! My how far we have fallen under the Nasty Glazers!! Pathetic!!
At least we are getting rid of some of the Deadwood players and some of the higher paid older ones!! That’s a good sign, for me. Another couple of good things about keeping ETH, may be:
1). It will keep Sancho away!! May he “Live Long And Prosper At Dortmund”!!
2). I Hear “Sir Marcus” is talking about giving up social media for a while!! He must have been told that no other team will pay the high transfer fee and wages he has, the way he has been playing (I believe he is too full of himself to figure that out on his own)!! He really should give it up for good!!
Maybe we should make retaining ETH contigent upon him getting rid of his loser “buddy” Antony!!
