Manchester United will face Man City at Wembley in the Community Shield at Wembley ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The Reds beat City on Saturday to become FA Cup champions thanks to first-half strikes from Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.
City pulled one back in the 87th minute through Jeremy Doku, but United were able to hang on until the end, winning our first FA Cup since 2016.
The win means United have qualified for next season’s Europa League, a tournament that can grant fans trips they never imagined before.
It also means that United will compete in the 2024 Community Shield against City. That will take place at Wembley on August 10.
United have not played in a Community Shield since 2016 when they beat Leicester City.
Although it is deemed a pre-season friendly match by many, the Community Shield gives fans a chance to have a day out at Wembley before the Premier League campaign kicks off.
