Rio Ferdinand takes aim at Manchester United star after Michael Olise opener

Rio Ferdinand took aim at Casemiro after Manchester United conceded the opening goal in their 4-0 defeat at Crystal Palace.

Casemiro has been the subject of heavy criticism this season due to his performances. His display against Crystal Palace was among his worst in a Red shirt as United got hammered at Selhurst Park.

United transfer target Michael Olise scored early on in the capital as Casemiro had to fill in as a makeshift centre-back such are the injury problems at centre-back. He went to ground as he attempted to make a tackle which set Olise on his way.

Olise was left to dance his way into the box without any pressure and his shot nestled into the corner past Andre Onana.

Former United defender Ferdinand wasted no time on social media by singling out the Casemiro mistake – insisting he should’ve stayed on his feet rather than attempting to make the tackle.

Ferdinand tweeted: “Casemiro #StayOnYaFeet”

Sadly, it wasn’t the only error made by Casemiro that led to a goal on the night.
