Casemiro’s performances this season have warranted criticism, but the Brazilian veteran reached a new low tonight with a shocking display in Manchester United’s 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace.
It was a performance that will scar Casemiro forever.
The Brazil international started in United’s backline that went in at full-time after losing 4-0 against Crystal Palace.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher was on Monday Night Football along with Ashley Young.
Carragher slammed United’s defending against Palace and made it clear in his post-match analysis that Casemiro should be going to the MLS or Saudi Arabia after this season.
Casemiro has been in awful form and is likely to leave Old Trafford in the summer.
However, Carragher was very strong in his stating his beliefs on Casemiro.
“He needs to call it a day at this level of football and move,” Carragher said on Sky Sports.
Casemiro was the worst of a bad bunch on the night. Christian Eriksen looked like another player who can no longer play at this level.
