Crystal Palace host Manchester United at Selhurst Park next Monday night, and Oliver Glasner has been granted a significant fitness boost ahead of the Premier League clash.
As per Mail Sport, stalwart defender Marc Guehi has now recovered from a long-term knee injury which required surgery to correct.
He sustained the issue against Brighton and Hove Albion on February 3 before starting his rehabilitation on February 28, meaning he is yet to feature under the new Eagles manager.
The England international, who is in contention for a Euro 2024 call-up, has resumed full training with the first team and is expected to make the matchday squad when Palace lock horns with the Red Devils next week.
Palace could add to United’s woes
Glasner has the South London outfit in resurgent form and like an entirely different squad than that of Roy Hodgson’s reign. They are now unbeaten in four successive matches, overturning Liverpool 1-0, West Ham 5-2 and Newcastle United 2-0 along the way.
Reports have suggested that United are keen admirers of Guehi, 23, as they look ahead to a vital summer transfer window, where defensive reinforcements must be acquired.
