Manchester United are champions of the U18 Premier League North group after beating Wolves 2-1 on Tuesday afternoon.
Adam Lawrence’s side guarantees their place atop the 13-team division with games to spare, after recording 19 wins from 22 games so far.
Gabriele Biancheri’s clinical brace in the first half means our U18s have secured the Premier League North title.
The title comes back to where it belongs – at United – after spending the past four years in the hands of Man City. It’s a fitting reward after a fine campaign.
United will now take on the winners of the U18 Premier League southern division in a play-off find to discover who will be the overall champions.
The Reds have also booked their place in the PL Cup final.
