‘Let’s see’ – Rasmus Hojlund provides injury update as Man United get boost

Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund has been out for the past few weeks due to injury.

He has recently updated supporters on his return and said that it shouldn’t be too long until he plays again.

The Danish striker enjoying success before having to spend time on the sidelines due to injury, which was unfortunate for the Red Devils.

Hojlund is not well-covered by Erik ten Hag in attack, and they have really missed his impact in the final third of the game these last few weeks.

The striker had scored in each of his last seven games in all competitions, including six in the Premier League, to bring his season total to 13.

As United get ready to take on Everton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon at Old Trafford, all eyes will be on ten Hag and his team selection.

With the club announcing on February 23 that Hojlund will miss two to three weeks due to the injury, it is unclear if he will be well enough to play in the match.

Hojlund has now hinted at a possible comeback to the pitch while giving an update on his progress.

“That would be nice,” Hojlund told MUTV when asked about the progress he is making from the injury. “Let’s see, but I’m going to be back as soon as possible.

“I don’t want to put a date on it because it will just interfere or something, but I think we’re not far off.”

Before suffering an injury, the former Atalanta striker was playing his best football after he had been inconsistent at Old Trafford earlier in his career. The young player was voted the Premier League Player of the Month for February as a result of his brilliant performances.
