Manchester United supporters may be expecting to see Rasmus Hojlund included in EA Sports FC 24’s Team of the Week 23.

The game’s fresh drop of TOTW cards are scheduled to land on Wednesday and there’s a host of players for EA to pick from to include in their latest release.

Ultimate Team packs will be made available with the new cards on February 21 after the squad has been revealed at 6pm GMT / 1pm EST / 10am PST – so you know exactly when to purchase your FIFA coins for.

Several players could see their ratings upgraded entirely if they’ve hit a particularly impressive run of form, while others could be granted positional changes if they’ve been adapting their role to fit their manager’s requests this term. TOTW 23 featured the likes of Erling Haaland, Theo Hernandez, Declan Rice, Vinicius Jr. and Toby Alderweireld.

Inclusions are based on single performances and only one member of any team can be in the lineup.

The last Red to make the cut was United Women’s star Geyse in TOTW 21 and prior to that, it was Hojlund back in January 2024 in TOTW 18. Raphael Varane made the cut in 14, Melvine Malard in 13, Alejandro Garnacho in 11 and Scott McTominay in TOTW 4.

Red-hot Hojlund impresses again

Hojlund did his bit yet again for the Red Devils on Sunday as his brace helped claim a vital three points in the gritty Kenilworth Road clash.

He made Premier League history when he broke the deadlock after just 36 seconds, becoming the youngest-ever player to score in six consecutive matches (21 years and 14 days old). The Dane added to his tally just six minutes later when he cleverly adjusted his body to send Alejandro Garnacho’s wayward shot on target – with his chest – and into the back of the net.

It was, however, end-to-end from that point onwards, with Luton Town halving the deficit in the 14th minute through Carlton Morris. But a spirited defensive showing meant that United reigned victorious by the full-time whistle, with Hojlund again proving the be the difference-maker and therefore aiding his side on their quest for a European spot; United now sit five points adrift of Aston Villa in fourth and two away from fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

The next opportunity for him to be the standout performer is this Saturday, February 24 against Fulham at Old Trafford, followed by a pivotal midweek clash with Nottingham Forest in the fifth round of the FA Cup next Wednesday, February 28.
