Jadon Sancho next club: Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and other potential options

Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United is under serious doubt following his fallout with manager Erik ten Hag.

All of the newsrooms have been quick to suggest that the winger could remain at Borussia Dortmund, a club he returned to in January on loan for the remainder of the season. BVB officials have been keen to play down the idea because it would be a major stretch financially unless Sancho suddenly asks to lower his salary. It is something he is going to need to do in order to leave United.

The betting sites have created markets with odds on Sancho’s next club. Below, we’ve taken a look at 1xbet to see what they think his options are.

Saudi Arabia

The Saudis have the money so they’re bound to be linked with a transfer for Sancho. That would ideal for United because it would result in a hefty transfer fee.

Sancho was reported offered on loan to various Saudi clubs, which means he is priced at a 7/2 favourites to move there in the summer.

I can’t see Sancho moving to the Saudi Pro League anytime soon. He will see how Jordan Henderson was fast to return with his tail between his legs.

Tottenham

It is no secret that Tottenham are big admirers of Sancho and they have the money to make it happen. The question is whether Ange Postecoglou sees the winger as a primary target in the summer because they can forget about signing him on the cheap. Not on INEOS’ watch!

Stay at Manchester United

It’s an unlikely outcome unless Ten Hag is sacked.

Though because there aren’t any clear favourites which is why Sancho is priced at 8/13 to remain at Old Trafford.

Sancho had long enough to prove himself at United before Ten Hag arrived and he continuously failed to meet required standards. I don’t think many people want him back from Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund

Although it is unlikely, as things stand, we know that things in football change. They are listed first in the market at 6/1.

Dortmund will ask themselves can the money they spend on Sancho help them compete for the Bundesliga once again.

I think the fact Dortmund pride themselves on doing smart business rules them out of this one.

According to Sport Bild in Germany, Sancho himself does not think that he will be staying at Dortmund beyond the length of his loan deal.

MLS

Sancho will feel that he still has more to offer in European football before moving his career to another continent.

There’s plenty of appeal in the US, but this one would shock me as much as him going to Saudi Arabia so early in his career.

That would be like waving goodbye to his England career (if he hasn’t done so already)?
