Manchester United and Tottenham are reportedly showing the most interest in signing Everton centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite at the end of the season.

Those interested in signing the 21-year-old, or any Everton player for that matter, will be watching the Toffees closely for the remainder of the season. Not just to scout their star defender but also in hope they suffer relegation because they’ll be more desperate for money if that happens.

Brathwaite has made 21 starts in the Premier League so far this season, so it goes without saying that Sean Dyche rates the youngster highly.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United and Tottenham are leading the race to take Brathwaite away from Goodison Park.

Both clubs are on the lookout for young defenders. It would be an even greater boost if they could find homegrown talent.

Everton are currently 18th in the Premier League table.

Let us know in the comments section if you think United should make a move for Branthwaite at the end of the season.
